EFA Web Site
The mission of Education Fund of America, LLC (“EFA”) is to provide low cost new facility financing to charter schools that inspire children while providing a safe EB-5 investment opportunity to foreign nationals.
EFA has funded dozens of schools with EB-5 capital, which has helped many thousands of students.
We finance the construction of new charter school facilities that educate a minimum of 350 children. We typically provide up to 55% of the capital needed to create a new school facility.
EB-5 is an employment and visa program established by the US Congress in 1990 to enable foreign capital to be invested in the US to create jobs for US residents.
A foreign national can invest $500,000 into a qualified business and if the business creates 10 jobs within two years, the investor, spouse and unmarried children under 21 will all receive a US Green Card.
From FY 2005-2013, the Program has accounted for over $6.5 billion in capital investment that supported over 131,000 U.S. jobs.
We are passionate about helping great schools expand their reach and open new school facilities.
A common denominator of all our schools is that they demonstrate an ability to INSPIRE children.
Established school operators that meet our credit requirements and have existing banking relationships may be eligible for direct financing which provides the "equity" to get the deal done.
For those schools in an earlier stage of growth, our development partners can assist with putting a total finance and construction package together that will meet your school's specific needs.
Working with the Education Fund of America:
“The EFA team is: friendly, pleasant and competent and they are very experienced in school financing matters.
The structure of their equity makes implementing the EB-5 program seamless and effective.”
